RamaLama brings the best of 1950s and 1960s a cappella doo wop to life. An oldies party band formed in 2015 and based in Pennsylvania, RamaLama maintains an ever-growing repertoire of nearly 100 classic oldies and is never afraid to try something “on the fly” when the audience requests it. The varied talents of each member shine during performances, making for fun and interactive audience experiences. Whether performing on the main stage to a packed venue or strolling at a private event, RamaLama is pure entertainment!

As 2019 comes to a close, we want to thank everyone for showing up at our performances and making this doo-wop thing we do come to life. It is your energy, enthusiasm and enjoyment that encourages us to perform as often as we do and to spread this old-time rock and roll music wherever we go.
We can't say that we've been everywhere, but we sure as heck tried! Check out our picture year-in-review and stay in touch! If we don't see you on New Year's Eve, have a great new year and doo-wop 'til you drop!
Bubba, Guinness, Millie, Shorty, T-Dub and Tex
Last year, our own T-Dub (Tom Wilson), raised several thousand dollars to support the Bellefonte Faith Centre and Interfaith Human Services of Centre County for their over the edge campaign. His reward? He got to repel down the side of the Fraser Center in downtown State College.
This year, RamaLama is raising funds to go OVER THE EDGE too. For every $1000 we raise, we will send a member of RamaLama OVER THE EDGE - it is up to you, how many we send! (Bubba (Jeff Brown) is definitely NOT keen on the idea, so he will be the last to go if we hit $6000)! Contact us if you wish to make a substantial gift to help us toward our goal and we will work with you to arrange a private "thank you" performance (Please contact us before making the donation!).
We hope to share a link soon to make an Over the Edge gift online. In the meantime, we hope to see you at one of our upcoming Over the Edge events! Check our show calendar for our upcoming Over the Edge Singing for Supper shows.
We have been pretty busy the past few weeks with two live performances at the State Theatre and taking center court at the BJC for RamaLama Day with the Lady Lions. We are excited to share that our spring and summer are starting to fill up with an array of private parties, fundraisers, and public shows. We are most excited to be invited back to Central PA Festival of the Arts and People's Choice Arts Festival with prime time spots. Check out our public shows page for more details.
BUT WAIT! THERE'S MORE!!!
We are really pumped that we had some time to record a few new tunes for you to enjoy. They aren't professional recordings, but it is amazing what you can do with technology these days. We posted four tracks on our press page - we think you'll like them. If you subscribe to our email list we will send you links to download the tracks to your computer or phone. We hope to record a few new tunes this spring too.....so stay tuned.
If you want RamaLama all to yourself, drop us a line. We do private shows all the time and for all occasions. In the meantime, stay warm and stay cool!
We are excited to announce that Doo Wop in the Attic (January 18th) is sold out and sorry to hear from so many of our die-hard fans that they were unable to get tickets. Most of our promotion for this event was on Facebook which means many people were left out of the loop. We love you all, so to help reach a broader audience we are starting an email list to announce advance ticket sales for our upcoming shows, promote special events and have a little fun. In the meantime, we hope to announce our next stage show by the end of January. Stay tuned. Sign up for our email list to get the inside scoop!
Thanks for being such a great audience at First Night State College 2018! It is always more fun when we have a full house and we appreciate you braving the elements. Be sure to catch us on January 18th for our next show at the State Theatre. We're learning 5 or 6 new tunes to share with you and have a fun night planned. Tickets sold out weeks in advance last time, so be sure to get yours early. Visit: thestatetheatre.org/doo-wop-in-the-attic-with-ramalama/
